Hanover Borough Police reported a disturbance, package theft, a non-injury crash, a harassment citation, and two trespass citations in their Aug. 17, 2026 activity log.
On Aug. 17, 2026, Hanover officers responded to a disturbance involving a disorderly woman in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street at 12:20 p.m. A parcel theft was reported at 12:47 p.m. in the 200 block of Centennial Avenue. At 4:45 p.m. a 2019 Dodge Ram driven by Michael Thompson of Hanover struck a 2021 Cadillac CTS owned by Deborah Folkerts at Clearview Road and Eichelberger Street; there were no injuries and no towing was required. Later that evening James Champlain, 37, of Hanover was cited for harassment on Center Square, and Kelan Callaghan, 20, of McSherrystown and Chase Perez, 18, of Spring Grove were cited for criminal trespass in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street.
