Hanover Borough Police responded to multiple domestic arguments, disturbances and crashes on Oct. 13–14, 2026, including a tow-required collision at High Street and W. Elm Avenue involving a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country (driver Ashley Stevens of Hanover) and a 2021 Ford Escape (driver Christopher Spangler of Spring Grove), and a hit-and-run that struck a fire hydrant at W. Middle Street and S. Forney Avenue. Officers also handled reports of a phone-based fraud, disorderly juveniles, criminal trespass and loitering, cited Craig Sinnott, 41 of Hanover, for harassment, arrested William Kern, 52 with no fixed address, on outstanding warrants, and reported pending charges for possession of drug paraphernalia against a 52-year-old man with no fixed address.
