Jaheem Shepherd arrested for contempt and defiant trespass in Hanover Township

On October 20, 2026, around 3:15 p.m., police apprehended 25-year-old Jaheem Shepherd of Pittston at the Marion Terrace Apartments and charged him with contempt for violation of a Protection From Abuse order (PACC 23 6114A) and defiant trespass (PACC 3503B). Shepherd was arraigned by District Justice David Barilla with bail set at $10,000 and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. An I.C.C. violation hearing is scheduled for October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Luzerne County Courthouse, and a preliminary hearing is set for October 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Luzerne County Central Court in Wilkes-Barre.
