Jaheem Shepherd arrested for violating protection order, trespassing in Hanover Township

On Oct. 20, 2026, around 3:15 p.m., police arrested 25-year-old Jaheem Shepherd of Pittston at Marion Terrace Apartments in Hanover Township for contempt for violating a Protection From Abuse Order (PACC 23 6114A) and defiant trespass (PACC 3503 B). Shepherd was arraigned by District Justice David Barilla, held on $10,000 bail and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. and an I.C.C. violation hearing for Oct. 29 at 2:00 p.m.
