Parkesburg officers attend viewing for Officer Shane Seiber; posthumous promotion to sergeant announced
Parkesburg Borough Police attended the viewing and funeral for Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber, and his posthumous promotion to sergeant was announced during the services.
Members of the Parkesburg Borough Police Department attended the viewing of Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber on October 19, conveying their respects to his wife, family and the Philadelphia Police Department. Funeral services were held today, during which Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel posthumously promoted Officer Seiber to the rank of Sergeant. Parkesburg closed its tribute with the message: "Rest well Sergeant Shane Seiber."
