Fraud Attempt on Friar Dr.; Large Transfers Blocked
Resident received multiple two-factor authentication codes and requests to transfer $19,800.00 and $23,100.00; transfers were stopped and no money was lost.
A complaint reported at 1:07 PM on September 23, 2026, from the 600 block of Friar Dr., Yardley, indicates the resident received multiple two-factor authentication codes and requests to transfer $19,800.00 and $23,100.00 to unknown accounts. The resident was able to stop the attempted transfers and suffered no monetary loss. The Lower Makefield Township Police Department is investigating.
