Tyler Hamilton arrested in Carlisle on robbery, assault and harassment charges

On September 19, 2026, Middlesex Township Police responded to the Americas Best Value Inn on Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle after a report of an active physical domestic. The victim reported that Tyler Hamilton had choked her, stolen her cell phone and hit her in the face with an object; Hamilton initially fled but was surrounded and taken into custody without incident. He was taken to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment and faces charges including robbery (18 3701 A 1V), simple assault (18 2701(A)(1)) and harassment.
